If your laptop keys are not working the most common reason is the keyboard has been dameged by liquid at somepoint.
Replacing the keyboard might be your best option, if you search on ebay you will be able to get an exact match pretty cheap. If you order from the laptop maker you could be looking around the £40.00-£60.00 mark. Most laptop keyboards are failrly easy to replace and you should be able to find instruction using the internet.
