We have just bought an old Citreon Saxo 1.1 1998. The warning light for the air bag flashes when the car is turned on then stays on. I have been told it is probably just a broken wire under the passenger seat but nothing seems to be wrong there. Are there any other simple explanations or is this something more sinister?

there will be wires under both front seats.

unclip wires for few minutes then put back together, light should go out. this fixed problem on mine.
