How do I replace air conditioner filter?

How do I replace my air conditioner filter on my 1999 Honda CRV
Diane Baker, April 2009
The pollen filter is behind the glove box, passenger side. Undo the screw along the bottom edge of the glovebox and remove it. Undo the fixings holding the side panel (near the passenger door), remove this panel by sliding it towards the door. Move the centre facia console enough to get access to the bolts that hold a bar that crosses in front of the rectangular filter housing. Undo the bolts and remove the bar. Unclip the filter access plate on its housing, remove the plate and the old filter can be slid backwards and out. Observe the flow arrows on the filter so you can put the new one in the same way.
