a few years ago, when cars were R12, you could just add some more refigerant until the sight glass was free of bubbles. The refigerant in the vectra should be r134a. The system needs to be pumped down, and a weighed charge inserted. I'm not a refig mechanic, but its a job for someone with the right gear - sorry about that.
