fridge working freezer not?

I have a LG side by side grl207tvj out of warranty by one month and the freezer has packed up. Any ideas please before I call in an engineer and get charged a lot of money.

if its only out of warranty by 1 month get on to LG customer care and hopefully they will do a free repair.goods should last a reasonable length of time and 13mths isn't reasonable.trading standards will back you on this.
