New dishwasher salt problem (I was a dumbass)?
I have just got a new Hotpoint SDW60P dishwasher and stupidly didn't fill up the salt tank with water before adding the salt, as you are meant to do.
I have since added plenty of water and have tried stirring the salt to get the water down to the bottom. Unfortunately when I start the machine it stops after about three minutes and the 3rd and 5th (eco and prewash) lights start flashing and the salt light comes on.
Please help or my other half will make me wash up forever as payback!
