What is wrong and how can I fix my Zanussi built-in oven model ZSA10?

The oven fan comes on as normal and heats the oven but when oven is switched off the fan starts to bang loudly against the grill part it is enclosed within. Is the fan wobbling around and becoming uneven? It works fine when on. It is a Zanussi built-in oven model ZSA10 and about 15 years old. I did notice the grease filter is missing and so perhaps food debris has become stuck to it causing it to be off-balance when slowing down??

remove the back cover from inside the oven cavity (4 screws) and you can get access to the fan.check the nut is tight (10mm nut with an anticlockwise thread)and that the fan hole is 'D' shaped and not rounded as this is a common fault for a loose fan blade
