My printer is printing in a very small font?

My printer is printing in a very small font most of the time, even when the page on my pc that I'm trying to copy is in a normal size font. How can I change it? I must add that I'm a fairly new computer user and don't know alot about these things. Thanks for any help I might receive. Mary

The font type and size on a printed document is usually an attribute of the document itself - the printer shopuld print what the document dictates.

In Microsoft Word the printed page will always be identical to the image you see on the screen when you select Print Layout.

In Microsoft Excel the application will adjust the font size according to how you set the Page Breaks - if you try to put lots of stuff on a page the font will decrease to fit the paper.

You do not mention the applications (programmes) that are working OK and those that are not - it might be significant.

Good luck...
