my F & P GW512 wont drain , when it reaches the rinse cycle it just hums , then beeps . i checked the drain pump , it had fibres wrapped around the fan shaft so i removed them , still no draining . perhaps the pump burnt out after being strangled by the fibres ? But at $75 4 a new 1 i wont be able 2 return was curious it might be a valve . in diagnosis mode (power & temp down together) the rinse & the water level low led's are both lit . any advice would be great , thanks Dave

In this model if the pump was burnt out it would probably not power up at all. When you advance to final spin & press start can you still hear the hum? If so then the drain pump is still obstructed. If nothing on outside then it may have something inside holding it. If no hum then pump can be checked with a multimeter set on ohms range. Pull wiring plug out of pump, put two leads from meter onto the 2 terminals. Should read 33.5ohms. Any less than 32 then replace it. Two lights you mention in diagnosis mode is normal.
