Why does my maytag side by side leak water under the freezer side? No icemaker hooked up, there is water freezing in the bottom. Looking for a way to unplug a drain pan.

Mine is also leaking water on floor from freezer that is also frozen solid at least 8 inches thick on the bottom shelf. This has built up from it adding water every time it drips from above! It sems to leak every few hours so we keep towel under the front on the floor. Luckily I have tile but it puts out alot of water.Someone told me to unload the freezer and let the ice maker thaw out to fix this. Haven't tried yet. NO MORE MAYTAG FOR ME! Also have faulty Maytag Nptune washer.
