I have a bauknecht GSX 4756 Dishwasher that has problems draining the water?

Dishwasher GSX 4756 has problems draining water during or at the end of the cycle? Sometimes it works but it has generally got worse. I have checked the drain pipe at the back to ensure that it isnt twisted. I am now thinking that it could be the drain valve (part number:290645) Any ideas??

Thanks

My Bosch had this fault two weeks ago...

Take out all the filter stuff you can from the bottom of the machine and remove the puddle of water with a cup and an old towel...

In the very bottom of the well on the left you may see a single Torx screw - undo it and remove the plastic cover for the drain pump impeller....

With any luck you will find debris trapped under the blades of the impeller - lemon pips etc... I did and after giving it a little clean up it drained perfectly. The blades rotate freely but you will feel some small magnetic resistance as you turn them.

Good luck...
