My mcculoch 210 strimmer keeps cutting out and is hard to start?

I require a new filler cap for my Mcculloch Trim Mac 210. I think the filler cap on the fuel tank is leaking due to the centre falling out, this I think is causing air in the fuel line. Unable to find spare cap any where!

Sooner or later you will also need to replace the fule lines when they disintegrate. I bought a tank assembly from a guy in the USA via Ebay. Came complete with tank, cap, fuel lines and filter. Cost about £12.50 which is almost a third of the price in the UK. Search Ebay for this item number 390024224965.

Why should he be able to take it back if he's lost a part from it and it now does not work?

As for your machine Jeff, the problem is usually a faulty spark plug, change that and put in fresh petrol and it should be alright

If its returnable take it back.

Like an idiot I bought another one after having problems with the first. They are cheap, thats about it. You have more chance of having a heart attack trying to start it than actually getting it started. They are complete CR*P.

I had a 210 - hard to start !
I have a brand new SL+ - impossible to start !

And I also have a chain saw. Starts when it feels like it and the chain is continually floppy loose.

Save up and buy a decent one like I am doing.
