no no no it would not be the graphics card nor if its dirty, realy you should give more infomation but i think ither you need more memory (you can buy usb hard drives that plug in to usb) anyway you might want to check hardware aceliration speed, right click on your background, go to advance, somthink to do with graphics and then turn the acceleration down slightly of not any of this keep me updated if these dont work because i have more solutions if this doesent work
