very bad fuel consumption ?

i own a 2002 2.0l petrol citroen c5 in very good condidion serviced every 4000 miles but am getting poor miles to the litre, about 55 miles to every 10 euros
granted i do a lot of driving in town conditions, but can anyone help? thanks

it's just town driving stopping and starting all the time, as it's an injection it uses more fule because your going up and down gears so the injection kicks in more, if you want to same on fuel downgrade to a smaller engine.
