Oil sump capacity for Brigg & Stratton Mountfield Mower?

I have inherited a Mountfield M3 petrol lawn mower fitted with a Briggs & Stratton Model 92908 Type 1344-01 Code 77112208 engine. The mower is quite old but runs and operates a treat. I would like to change the oil but I do not know the type or more importantly the amount to use. Can you help please?

Oil type is 10W-30 or 10W-40.
Capacity is 1.25 pints
I have also just bought an old M4 with this same engine.

Have a look on the B&S website ,you should be able to download an ops manual?

failing that, if it is a model without a dipstick and just has a little top up plug, then tilt the mower on its side
and just poor the old oil into an old 1 litre oil bottle (with measurement markings) and get a measurement from that
