Air bag malfunction?

Hi! My 2005 Nissan Primera's airbag indicator is flashing/on permenantly - can this be fixed by me or do i need to go to a dealer? Thanks!

It's often just a loose connector, but it's best to get it plugged in and checked. You dont have to go to a dealer, many independent garages have the equipment and are much cheaper.
The car is safe to drive with this light on, and it's not an MOT failure. It just means the supplementary restraint system wont activate if there is a crash.
