the tomtom turns on fine....but when you try to touch a letter or number it jumps to a different letter or number , we tried resetting it but still having the same problem and the unit is fully charged.....help please!!

I have the same problem. TomTom tells me that it's unfixable and that I have to buy a new unit. Sounds weird, my pda has the same type of screen and I can re-align it anytime this happens.
