the main oven in my bellings electric cooker is not working. the light and fan are working so it does not seem to be a problem with teh switch.

If you are diy person then it is no big deal changing a oven element, Turn off the cooker at the main switch ie.cooker control. Take the back off the cooker you will be able to identify the cables feeding the oven elements dis conect the cables from the terminals and test to see if you have a circuit trough the element,if you get an open circuit then change the element
