How do I fix a broken key on my laptop keyboard?

The backspace button on my toshiba satellite 5000-104 laptop has come loose and keeps coming off. I keep trying to put the clips back in but cant seem to make it stick down?

Im not sure how this happened but could you please help me.

My shift key comes out of my toshiba laptop, and freaked that it came out and now thought I was going to get the livings beatings out of me. So I researched on the internet on how to fix keyboard buttons. I REALLY recommend this website. http://www.laptoprepair101.com/laptop/2007/03/20/key-fell-off-keyboard/comment-page-110/#comment-133080

It helped me with all my keyboard button problems.

Good Luck. :)

Has it come loose or is there something broken. The plastic clip should clip onto the keyboard in four places and the key usually hooks in at the bottom and clips in at the top. It may be easier to replace the whole keyboard which are usually clipped in. Replacement keyboards are common on Ebay.
