My taps don't have microswitches fitted?

I have a 1982 Mustang Shetland GTS, and the taps fitted do not have micro switches fitted like the more modern style. I guess it just uses the water pressure through the Shurflo water pump (internally mounted, not a submersible type)

The taps are getting a little stiff now so I thought about replacing them with more modern types, but would they then need the microswitches wiring in to the pump, and if so any ideas how the wiring should be done

I am a competent DIY'er, just need some guidance on the principles i should follow

Thanks Jack, yep, other advice also confirms my pump pressure supplies the water so don't need to worry about the micro switches which is good, but like you its finding a design that fits my sink, so might havea look at the Comet ones, do you have a link to the web page by any chance?

Hi Steve, I have just this last week fitted new Comet taps on to the tip up sink in my A/S Motorhome, if you have a pump you will not need Micro Switches, I bought my new taps from O'Learys, if you have a tip up sink you may find you have to fit Comet taps as their slightly cheaper taps are too long to allow the sink to close up correctly
