how can we fix our cushions ?

We have a problem with one of our cushions as the damp absorber we had on the worktop fell onto it and now it is absorbing water and will not dry out

Only thing I can suggest is what I did and used our hot air fan sat the cusion in front of it about a foot away and left it unitil it felt dry.
