My tumble dryer can be on for up to 120 minutes and the clothes are still wet, probably wetter than when they come out of a spin in the washing machine. I've tried emptying the water catcher and also rinsing out the vent and I always clear the fluff from the door, I don't know what else to do? It's about 3 or 4 years old.

Had same problem but with a different machine, if your machine doesn't have a filter the fluff gets trapped in the clear boomerang shaped piece inside the back of the machine, this has to be removed [not a bad job] and fluff flushed out. This should do the trick, you may have to reset the plastic trip switches inside the top of the machine [ 2 plastic noddies ]
