how to fix remote central locking for bmw 328?

when i press the unlock button the doors dont always unlock i need to manually unlock the drivers door(cant open any of the other doors). I have been told that its NOT the battery...

No answer to this, but it seems to be a common problem. I've only ever heard it happen to the drivers door. Mine sticks almost all of the time (9 year old 3 Series). Sorry no help, but it is common.
