Nissan Primera leak to passenger compartment?

Every time it rains, water gets into the passenger compartment of my Nissam Primera and collects in the footwells. I can see no obvious leaks. I suspect that somehow it is collectinig in the sills and somehow getting inside, but I could be wrong. I can see no ingress through door seals, for example. Anybody seen this or have a clue? Thanks

hi i had the same problem and got it fixed ot was leaking from little clips under the windscreen that clips on too the cowl ,it was taken out and seal and it worked

My primera is leaking through the sun roof if that helps anyone don't know an easy fit yet tho will post more if I find one.

Hi, I also have the same problem.....but I bought my car brand new (9 years ago), and I it has only been over the last couple of years that it has been a problem.
I have taken it to a mechanic and they thought they found the problem, but it is still leaking!!

Can you please tell me what you mean by the sills???

I have just had the same prob with my primera I have found the drain pipe from the sun roof had come off and was letting the water run down behind the soudproofing and down the door pillar to the floor tray. Hope this is of some help. The hard job is drying the floor soundproofing its like a spong.

Well I got the garage to give an opinion. The owner himself had the same problem - there are simply no dranage holes in the sills - so he drilled some on either side and the problem is fixed
