i have a creda excel 1200 and the fast spin at the end of a normal wash wont work nor will the fast spin cycle also the softner isn,t being washed into the machine, as far as we can tell there isn't a blokage.

if the motor fails to rotate the drum at all it is probably motor brushes worn but if the motor turns during wash and will not spin fast for spinning there is almost certainly a blockage in the pressure chamber which is on the front right hand side of the drum , this can be checked by draining the machine of any water, unplugging the machine and taking the pipe off the pressure switch next to the programmer and blowing down it. if it is hard to blow down or impossible then there is a blockage at the bottom of either sludge or scale.
