peugeot 106 - battery?

I think i need a new battery as i get the ingnition lights on, but car will not start. I cannot get the battery out!! As the screws on bracket is rusted and has beenput on very tight by previousowner!!!! HELP!!

Use penetrating oil, or PlusGas, and let it soak overnight. Use a socket on the bolt heads, if they've rounded hammer on a very slightly smaller size socket. Don't hit the battery else acid may come out!
