1.8 16v renault laguna tappets?

could u explain how to change

Depends on the year.
On my Laguna it's a major operation , requiring a number of special tools such as flywheel locking pin, camshaft locker, engine support bar etc. and a lot of time.

The instructions take up about ten pages in my Haynes manual, and I'm not copying all that!
That's for model years 1994 to 2000. I dont know about later models, but knowing Renault they wont have made it easier!!
Go to the Library, they might have or be able to get a copy of the Haynes manual. If not, just buy one, it's about £20.
Are you sure they need replaced? If they are noisy an oil flush and change, making sure you use good quality oil of the correct grade, might be enough. I prefer to buy oil from the Dealership ( that and spark plugs are the only things I go there for) , it's a bit more expensive but I feel it's worth it.
