after each wash the water stays in the drum, we have emptied the pipe so no blockage at the bottom of the washer, not spinning proaply in the programme

hi.....sounds like your brushes on the motor...easily changed....(by a man) hahaha ....i had same prob....hotpoint charge £65 call out so if u buy a cheaper pack of brushes and get some one to fit them you can get them for about £15.........

i believe the brushes look a little like small brake pads
