How to fix- Hotpoint Dryer TDC30P switches off after few minutes ?Thermo?

My TDC30P condenser dryer will run and heat for few minutes and then switch off ..you can only satrt it again after 10 min and same thing happens again -could this be the thermostat?? All advice gratefully recieved.
