How can I get my VW Touran 2005 tailgate to lock properly? When it does lock, it rattles as if the door is not held tight against the seal. Is there a solution to this?

I had a similar problem a little while back.

My problem was caused by the bolts holding the lock in place coming loose. All I had to do to fix it was open the tailgate, remove the inner cover and screw the bolts down nice and tight. A little lock tight or some thing like it may stop it happening again.
