hi
my fisher and paykel smart drive 608...6.5kg..wont spin and isnt draining water.it makes a humming noise when on spin cycle but nothing else happens.i think its blocked but need to know how to unblock it?any information would be wonderful.
single lady who wants to fix it herself but needs to know how.

Start by emptying as much water out by hand using a small jug. Then tip machine back against the wall so you can look underneath. Pump is at front right hand corner. Below pump is a small plastic fan. Try turning fan back & forward until it feels free. Stand machine up & advance to final spin & see if pump runs. Sometimes it will run free & spit the obstruction out with the water. If it jambs up again, you will need to get pump out & clear obstruction by hand.
