Tecumseh 35 petrol lawnmower with no manual?

Hi I have acquired a tecumseh 35 lawnmower. I was wondering is the little black reservoir with a green and black sponge filter the oil sump?

what oil would i use?

No. Assuming a Vantaghe 35 engine, the oil filler is a yellow screw-in plug on the side of the engine at the bottom.

Other than the air filter, there are no filters on this engine.
