how can i fix my hotpoint cdtoo tumble dryer. ?

how can i fix my hotpoint cdt00 tumble dryer? it trips the r.c.d. when i press the start button. is it the heater?

my cdt00 tumble dryer is making anoise but drum isnt going round unless i push it then it starts what can be wrong

Check the heating element on the back of the dryer by unscrewing the box shaped bit off .Check that no wires have been damaged or trapped between or touching metal.And last of all check for metal object thst could have got in near the element ie bra wires etc.Hope this helps JIM
