Replacing Hotpoint CTD85 dryer heating element?

The heating element has packed up, shorts out my electric. How do I get the side or back off to get at the cabling so I can replace the heating element.

With winter in mind I had another go at this and almost gave up. It turns out that if you take screws off the lid at the back, lift the lid and move it vigorously from side to side it comes off. You can then just remove the 5 screws attaching the side panel to gain access to the wiring.

Phew.
