Programming a Samsung ER-5100 cash machine?

I recently took over a pub and with the sale came 2 x ER-5100 tills....They are working fine but I would like to know how I can change various items as I have added quite a few new items....I would like to be able to do it from my pc and I can see it has a pc serial port...can you help..
