how can I get into my car (vw golf)central locking gone?

I have bought a VW Golf 1600 FSI today.The bleeper key will not unlock it and although I can get into the car manually the key will not go in the ignition !!!!

Maybe the battery inside the key fob has just gone. Find out what battery it takes and replace it then try
