No power to my Smeg Dishwasher?

Hi My smeg dishwasher (DWF 410 SS) stopped working today.
It has absolutely no power, I have checked the obvious fuse, and power point but nothing, The catch also looks and seems to be sealing fine, Any Advice much appreciated

Hi I have bought dishwasher SMEG over just 16 months ago DWA157W . It stop working during washing dishes, no power all dead. I have puled front cover check stop/ start button with multimeter there was power , the power was going to the circuit breaker and than it stopped. The circuit breaker failed. I tried to fixed it but too many components was faulty within circuit breaker, impossible. New board cost over $500 dollars. Would not recommend buying SMEG dishwasher to any one. They cheap and parts very expansive, they don't last very long for the money you pay. who would think that Italians make such a cheap crap and they charge you so much for parts. I decided to buy Westinghouse this time, and the SMEG is at the tip.

Hi, Just had the same problem with a SMEG LSUK986X dishwasher. After switching power socket off I removed the front control panel and discovered the connector going to the on/off button had shorted. It was all black. This caused the plastic cover to melt and therefore insulate connector. After taking off the connector and cleaning it, machine worked straight away. Hooray. Fault probably caused by broken on/off button cover for some weeks now. I have removed one from a less used button and put that on it now. Whish I'd done that simple thing earlier. Hopefuly all will now be well. Good luck with yours.
