How do I replace my dishwasher outer door?

Can anyone help me by explaining how I go about replacing my Kenwood KDW12ST3A dishwasher outer door (part no. 19.59 1) please?

I have just (hour ago) taken the outer door from my Bosch D/W and yours will probably be similar. The outer skin that covers the drop down door is often in two parts - the top piece (plastic on mine but probably Stainless Steel on yours) carries the control buttons and covers the electronics - the larger lower piece covers the detergent and rinse aid assembly.

Mine had 10 Torx screws around the inside edges - four along the upper edge hold the top panel and the three screws on each side hold the lower panel on - just undo the six side screws - pull the panel out a little at the bottom and drop it down.

If you don't have a Torx driver set they can be had quite cheaply from most DIY stores.

I hope your machine is similar to mine - a ten minute job at most.

Good luck...
