Its not really practical to sharpen cylinder mower blades by yourself - however it is possible to sharpen or (better still) cheaply replace the bottom blade that the cylinder rotates onto. The cylinder cutter can be adjusted either side so that the cylinder is just not making contact with the bottom blade.
