My dishwasher starts its cycle for about 5 minutes then stops, when I check it, the second and fourth lights are flashing indicating a fault, does anybody know what this may be, it is not in the troubleshooting guide, and when i phone hotpoint service they cannot say, only that an engineer can come out for £100!, has anybody had the same problem?

got the same problem! Try turning the machine off for several minutes then they should go off, but this doesnt explain why they are flashing in the first place unfortunately
