how do i fix the timing on my singer 237 machine?

the bobbin keeps gathering and will not sew correctly.

Hello Jhanelle,
I have sent you timing instructions but check the tensions first, top tension about 4 or 5, make sure you have a new needle in, sometime the end burrs over and pull the thread through causing it to gather.
