Hello I have a Horizon Omega 3 HRC, its stopped working and shows 500 on the display panel. Just wondering if anyone can help me to find out what the fault means?

Hi.
Before you start buying expensive semiconductors check r9 and r13 resistors (capacitor decouplers).
They are rated at 100kr at 5w.
They will probably be high or indeed o\c.

Regards.

E-1 Error-message on the Upper Board
If there is belt movement upon start up of the treadmill, and an E-1
message occurs, follow the possible causes below:
Possible cause:
.
• Check all wire connections.
• Verify that the sensor magnet is positioned in the front roller pulley.
• Verify the distance between the RPM sensor wire and the front roller pulley
(2-4 mm). Reposition the RPM sensor closer to the pulley if possible.
• Adjust the speed dial on the lower board to increase the treadmill speed
slightly (reference speed calibration in table of contents).
• Verify the signal of the RPM sensor by entering Diagnostics Mode. If there is
no signal present, check the continuity of the RPM sensor wire. If there is no
continuity, replace the sensor wire.
• If the problem persists, replace the upper board.
If there is no belt movement upon start up of the treadmill, and an E-1
message occurs, follow the possible causes below:
Possible cause:
• Verify that all wire connections are properly attached.
• Adjust the speed dial on the lower board to increase the treadmill speed slightly.
• Verify the diagnostic LED’s on the lower board. Reference diagnostic LED chart
for possible causes.
• If problem persists, replace the lower board.

hi just fixed my treadmill fired up for 5 seconds or so came up error i bared the wires that feed the speed sensor if it is magnetic and set the mill to low speed and flicked the wires together to coincide with the magnet passing the sensor and it worked then experimented with a bike sensor one of those cheep bike speedo works a treat good luck picked up the treadmill from local tip 3 pounds fantastic condition

Sorry, not an answer but my machine has just done exactly the same thing. The motor turns very slowly for about 5 seconds, irrespcective of speed setting and then stops with the E1 error. The belt seems to move freely so I cannot think it is this. I'll be watching for any answers as well. Andrew
