I have a 1995 ford transit camper 2ltr auto. Unable to select 3rd gear. When placed in drive will not shift up beyond 1st and will only select 2nd manually. Prior to this gearbox kept kicking down from 3rd to 2nd.
Vacuum pipe off or split . Confirm by checking if you have full throttle upshifts. Transmission sees no vacuum at wide open throttle, hence part throttle will hold low gear. 2nd manually is 2nd except at high speed.
