Electrolux E0B510X - Oven door hinges?

My oven door hinges have locked back on themselves and I cannot open them in order to slot them back into the oven. I am a female and find the spring impossible to open. There must be an easy way of doing it. Is there?

put a screwdriver horizontally across the hammer end of the hinge end then you can pull it back with the screwdriver shaft and use 2 hands for extra force
