the problem with my samsung e700 is the backlight it very faint theres still display on the screen it self but you just cant really is it so how do i sort the problem?

Sounds as though your ribbon connection is just about had it...
A popular fault with e700 is that ribbon isnt hardy enough to take all the opening and shutting of the clam....
Symtoms inc.. Faint displays, white screen, camera 'preview error', inverted text.... these are all progressive...
So needs a new ribbon.... which comes with LCDs.... easy enough to fit yourself, but better left to professionals. Cost £30 - £40...
