Hi I have a advent 5301 and it wont connect to the internet, wired, wireless or dongle. What can I do to repair this without a huge bill? My other laptop is able to connect so its definately the laptops fault.

Rummage around in Network Connections - you might find out why the network path(s) to the router are not working.

Right click on the icons you see...

Your laptop does not have an Internet problem - the internet's working OK to the other machine - you have a local network problem.
