How do I replace a drive belt on an Atco Windsor 12 cylinder mower?

How do I put a new toothed belt onto the pulleys attached to electric motor and pulley that in turn drives the blades and roller. Do I have to remove the bearings to get it over the larger pulley?

To change the drive belt from the electric motor to the drive gear, remove the top cover by unscrewing the two retaining screws. undo and remove the screw holding the retaining bracket to the motor assembly. Undo and remove the three screws holding the motor bearing in place, remove the bearing assembly. Undo and remove the two screws and washers holding the motor assembly to the mower. Fit the new belt around the motor and drive gears noting the correct direction of travel of the belt (printed on the new belt). Reassemble in the reverse of this procedure.

Can't remember this one particularly well, but I think you just slacken off the tensioner under the right hand cover and you can get the belt on that way....don't quote me though!
