bmw 3 series coupe seat lever broken?

Hi,my seat lever to move seat forward ,to let passengers in back, has broken,just flips up and down.Does anyone know if it is self fixable or a garage job only.Any comments would be a great help.Thanks.

You should take out the complete seat but remember to keep the ignision off. Then youll be able to see if it just clipped out.
