Can you disconnect the clock on this model and still use the oven, as I never use the timer, but the clock permanently makes a really loud whirring sound (a bit like a fan) and the only thing that stops it is when I turn off the electric?? Please help because living in a flat, I can hear it all night and it's driving me mad...
