Went on holiday left code and instructions with neighbour in case of alarm going off It did. Door with sensor had eased open. Neighbour enters, attempts to rectify,, unsuccessfully, eventually presses every button in sight which somehow stopped alarm sounding but also locked all buttons
Lights now showing are POWER and TAMPER
Please tell me how to unlock the system
I have progamming instructions (not the complete manual) but they don't appear to help

I had the same problem after a power cut - removed main fuse allowed system to run backup battery flat then replaced fuse - system powered up correctly and allowed me to reset using my code

Hi Doug,

I have the same problem with my Optima xm6 alarm.

Did you manage to resolve this? If so, I would be very interested in hearing how you resolved this problem? If all else fails I shall have to call out an engineer but I would rather avoid the expense.
